PHOTONEWS: Orji, Wogu lauds SURE-P at South-east zonal sensitization rally

Abia State Governor Theodore Orji says the federal government’s Subsidy Re-Investment and Empowerment Programme, SURE-P, has contributed to the development of the South-east region.

He stated this during the week, at the SURE-P zonal sensitization and appraisal event in Umuahia, the state capital.

According to him, his adminstration will continue to support the scheme to ensure that it meets its targets for the region.

Orji commended President Goodluck Jonathan for his commitment to the programme, adding that the nation’s leader was a great leader who does his best to make great ideas become reality.

Others in attendance were his wife, Mercy Orji, Chief Emeka Wogu, Minister of Labour and Productivity, Sir Emeka Ananaba, Abia Deputy Governor, top government officials, community leaders, market women, youths and beneficiaries of the programme.
