Arsenal reach agreement with Real Madrid and Ozil, medicals to be done in Germany

Several English media outfits, are now reporting to Mesut Ozil’s move from Real Madrid to Arsenal is in its final stages, after they reached agreements with the La Liga side and the Germany international.

The Gunners are close to smashing their transfer record, despite late interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for the player.

According to John Cross of the UK Mirror: “Am hearing agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Real Madrid to sign Mesut Ozil on a permanent deal worth around £42m.

“Ozil is on international duty with Germany and will have medical there. He is keen to come. But the deal is done in principle.”
