Tinubu to speak at British African Diaspora Conference in London today

A former governor of Lagos State and the national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria,ACN, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will today speak at the British African Diaspora Conference in London

Tinubu is the keynote Speaker at the event billed to start by 7pm at the Westminster Hall, House of Parliament, London.

The theme of the conference is “Leadership, National Development and the People.”

According to the statement signed by his special adviser on media, Sunday Dare, Tinubu will be hosted by a senior member of the British Parliament, Mr David Lammy, who will be joined by Mr, Shadow, Secretary for International Development, Ivan Lewis and other top politicians from various parties within British political circle.

The statement stated that the choice of Asiwaju Tinubu as the Keynote Speaker by African Partnership Development alongside other African leaders and top members of British Parliament was to stimulate proactive actions and deepen the understanding of the international community and the Diaspora on the challenges of national development against progressive leadership in Africa from the perspective of Nigeria.

It further said that shortly after the speaking engagement, Bola Tinubu will be a guest at an after dinner meeting which will hold at Holiday Inn, London.
