Moses ‘the teddy bear’ emerges Nigerian Idol Season 3 winner

22-year-old Moses Obi Adigwe, a.k.a the teddy bear has emerged winner of one of Nigeria’s most-viewed reality TV show, Etisalat- Nigerian Idol, Season 3.

The smooth singer was filled with joy when his name was announced as the Season 3 winner.

Moses becomes the first male contestant to emerge winner of the reality TV show.

He could not contain his joy as he stuttered over and over again, “This is a new beginning in my career and life… you don’t understand!”

Like in previous seasons, Etisalat Nigeria delivered, as promised, a brand new Hyundai SUV and a 7.5-million-naira cheque to the new Idol, who will also get a recording contract worth another N7.5 million. The first Runner-up, Debbie Rise got a whooping cash price of N1.5 million and went home with a brand new Kia Picanto, also courtesy Etisalat Nigeria.

The top 12 contestants were not left out of the glamour and celebration, as they gave a group performance.

Efezino, JayFeel, Abasi Akang, Safeeyat Kome and the others also stepped up on stage to embrace Moses, who dissolved in their arms and cried happily.
