“We used ‘juju’ to make the Super Eagles win” – Supporters’ club chief, Rafiu Ladipo

The President General of Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club, Chief Rafiu Ladipo, has admitted that he used black magic, popularly called juju for many years, with the hope it will help the Super Eagles win games.

Ladipo is widely regarded as the team’s number one supporter and has travelled around the world with the team for many years.

“I was carrying Super Eagles juju for so many decades until we came to realise that juju doesn’t play football,” Ladipo said on Lagos television station, LTV.

However, he also added that they no longer consult metaphysical powers, but depend on divine forces to come out victorious.

“We have decided to put a stop to it as there are no links between football and voodoo.

“Now we believe only in praying and fasting to help Nigeria win their matches.”

Nigeria have won the Africa Cup of Nations twice – in 1980 on home soil and in Tunisia in 1994.

    The evil that men do live after them. in my opinion the effect of your juju is what responsible for all the mess Nigeria football is in now. Remember when you invite satansatan into anything he takes ownership of that thing with the sole target to make real profits “Kill ,Steal & Destroy” even to the fourth generation if proper repentance and deliverance from such are not done (which I doubt ,giving the huge scandals perpetrated by those in the Glass House)..Check-out the Israelites. NFF need prayers and deliverance.

    The author of this story should go back to school and be thought how to write story. I watched the programme on LTV 8 Ikeja which hosted Dr. Rufai Ladipo, the programme was Owuro Lawa, the people who anchored the programme invited Dr. Ladipo on the programme most especially as the President General of Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club. And Dr. Ladipo being the number one supporter had to put more light on burning issues that concern the supporters club. And in one of the questions the anchored of the programme asked him that is it true that (black magic) popularly known as juju can win match for any club and Dr. Ladipo said that there is no way in this world not only in football but every sport that juju can win any sport for you and he made instance of Bolt who is the number one world runner today that juju did not make him to run fast. I am surprised to write that someone wrote a story that Dr. Ladipo said that juju made Super Eagles to win a match. Fortunately, today I watch the programme on the same LTV 8 where they discussed about journalism in which many people condemned our journalists today because of their laziness not publish authentic story and most of their stories are being doctored. My conclusion is that Dr Ladipo has never said that he use juju to win match for Super Eagles in past or even present.

    that someone wrote a story that Dr. Ladipo said that juju made Super
    Eagles to win a match. Fortunately, today I watch the programme on
    the same LTV 8 where they lambast Nigerian journalists for not write
    authentic story because of their story are fictures or thereabout.
    Dr. Rafiu Ladipo never said that he use juju for Super Eagles to win
    match in the past and present time. He was even go against those who
    believe in this computer age that juju can win a match for them. Dr.
    Ladipo attributed the success of any match to hardworking, training
    and prayers can make you succeed in a match or any sport. With what
    he said I believe that Dr. Ladipo go against of juju to win a match.
