True Confession: Help! I am HIV positive

By on September 20, 2012

I have been in just two relationships my entire life the first which I dated for 2years and the second am still dating in 6years. I discovered in 2009 that I was HIV+ I didn’t say anything to my partner because I was sure he had it too I just wanted him to find out for himself and we’ve been sexually active since I tested +.

This year he went for a test and he was HIV- in a reputable hospital that I couldn’t doubt the results. I was surprised, I went for my test again same HIV+. Am just shocked and confused I have never been promiscuous EVER! I’ve never cheated on him I don’t even understand how am + at all. Only my best friend is aware of my situation. And recently my ex of 2years tested HIV- too. I have never slept with anybody apart from these two guys. My best friend says it’s spiritual.

I don’t know what to do am avoiding sex with my partner because now I know he’s negative I don’t want him to contact it from me, I told him let’s be celibate(NO SEX) until we get married next year. He loves me so much and trusts me too he even didn’t ask me to go for a test after he was tested HIV- he just told me “as long as am negative you are negative no need to get a test”

This is my situation
1) I can’t marry Him (I can’t deliberately do that to him)

2) I can’t bring myself to tell him (am afraid of rejection! It would crush me if he ever left me because of that)

3) If I break up with him he would want to know why and will NEVER let me go until I give him a concrete reason WHY! (I tried doing that when he just tested HIV-, he just laughed and said I was joking).

Please what do I do? I need advise. Thank you.

If what you said is true, then you need more random test before you can conclude. Look for better equipped hospitals too

If what u said is true, then u must have contacted in thru another means and not thru sex (and it`s sure not spiritual). What is left 4 u now is just to go to God and asked HIM for is Help and 4giveness.He alone can turn ur situation around.Look 4 a good church and dedicated urself to HIM,i have head testimonies of HIV+ turning to HIV,Nothing is impossible with God.Just trust in Him dear,it is well!

my dear you better tell him,if you cant then involve your pastor in the matter pray and ask for the leading of the holy spirit, afterwards you guys can go for healing.i almost lost my husband becos on a secret like this that i kept from him

your refusal to disclose will only bring a weightier problem that you are trying to avoid.what if he finds out that you are hiding your status from him?he will certainly feel you didn’t love him after all.he will feel bad you purposely infected him, knowing your status.but if you tell him, it will show you truly love him, that you dont want to infect him. and if he leaves you, they’ll be no bitter feelings against you.and if he stays, you’ve got a man you can call yours for life

My dear, if you really love this man you should tell him and if he trulylove you then he may be mad however he may not want to leave. In the US, if someone is HIV+ and know it but give it to someone else can be criminally charge. There is no excuse for not being totally honest with someone else. Ask yourself ” if it was the other way around/would I want him to tell me”. The outcome of yr situation may not be good however it’s better to walk away with honor then to give him the virus and watch his pain. To cause pain is not love.
Pls, be ttueful and if you continue to have sex pls. use condoms.
    Wishing you the best

M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣ dear it requires a lot of wisdom. Contact your spiritual father 4 counceling. Let ♍£ assure you it is not the end of the world. Your boy friend seems 2 have very strong immune system. Let God guide you.

Your friend that told u your HIV case is spiritual might be correct. There are several cases like that, that i am personally privy to. If you are reading this, now i want you to take my advice very seriously. It doesn’t matter whether your HIV case is spiritual or medical, there is solution for it. Am recommending a Ministry (Church) where over 150 HIV cases, and countless number of other types of Sicknesses have been healed, for FREE. The name of the church is: Firehouse Church. at Nyanyan checkpoint, (after Niger Delta Hotel), Nyanyan, Abuja. Find your way there. The name of the pastor is Prophet Emmanuel Esezobor. Divine healing is still very real. Find your way there.

Shola, you’re absolutely stupid. What will your flamboyant prophet do? This is how you guys deceive gullible Nigerians with fake miracles and promises. If this girl is not sensible like you, she’ll follow your advice and this fake man you call your prophet will deceive her. If he cures HIV world health organisation will relocate to his church. This Church you call ”Fire House” is pure 419. Those things are not miracles, they’re fake. Your prophet is looking for gullible Nigerians and he’s got you. My advice to this HIV+ lady is not to ever ever step her feet there. She’ll come out with more problems. She’ll forever remain under the control of your fake prophet which many of you that are there can testify. Your prophet is fake! 419

If you have had surgery in the past,a blood transfusion, a termination of pregnacy(abortion), shared a toothbrush or sharps with an infected person, those are ways of contacting HIV besides sexual intercourse. I advice you enroll into a HIV facility, there are lots in government hospitals, have a volunteer counselling and testing and if positive, commence treatment and followup. It is also possible for someone who passed it to you to now be negative especially if the person is on anti retroviral treatment. After some time on treatment, the viral load becomes undetectable and screening test results appear as negative. Also, you can marry a negative partner and have hiv negative children with him. All the best to you as you make the right decision.
