“Messi fascinates me more than Ronaldo” – Former Brazil striker, Ronaldo
Brazilian legend, Ronaldo de Lima, has weighed in with his opinion, on the comparisons between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The former Real Madrid and Inter milan striker, says that he would pick Messi over his namesake.
“Messi is a little above Cristiano Ronaldo in my opinion,” he said in an interview with CNN.”I give preference to Messi, because he’s a player who fascinates us more, who shows more creativity – even though he’s from Argentina, which has a big rivalry with Brazil.
“I admire both players, though.”
The 35-year-old also talked about the newest star in his country, Neymar. He insisted that the forward has to move to Europe and prove himself in an European club.
“I think Neymar still has a phase to complete, to play in Europe and triumph playing in Europe.”
