Oprah Winfrey is still the world’s highest paid celebrity, a year after ending her show
Oprah Winfrey might have ended her phenomenal talk show a year ago, but she is currently the world’s highest paid celebrity. From June 2011 to June 2012, she earned a whooping $165 million, according to Forbes – and that is even a drop in the $290 she made in 2010.
It is the fourth consecutive time the media mogul tops Forbes list of highest earners. And the others in the list include:

3. Steven Spielberg – $130 million
4. Pirates of the Caribbean director Jerry Bruckheimer – $115 million
5. Rapper turned headphone mogul Dr Dre – $110 million.

8. James Patterson, Author: $94 million
