“Mourinho and I will not leave Real Madrid,” – Ronaldo
By Ifreke Inyang on March 14, 2012
Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has insisted that neither he or Jose Mourinho will leave Spain for England this summer. The Portuguese pair have been linked with a sensational switch to Chelsea but the former United attacker doesn’t think that will happen.
“Mourinho will stay with us, I’m sure,” Ronaldo told reporters ahead of Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow. “I’m always growing, season after season. At Real Madrid I always have to improve to compete with my peers.
“For me it is amazing; I’m always learning and I want to continue. I am very happy.”
Ronaldo also maintained that the club was bigger than both of them.
“Real Madrid are the most important thing – not me or Mourinho.”
