158 BOKO HARAM SECT ARRESTED IN KANO

Not less than 158 suspected members of the dreaded  Boko Haram sect have been arrested by a Joint Military Taskforce (JTF) deployed to Kano state since the Friday bomb blasts that left the state deserted.

This fit was achieved immediately after President Goodluck Jonathan had visited the state. It has been confirmed that  more than 200
people have been confirmed dead in the attack.

In the battle to arrest the culprits, there was an exchange of gunfire as some sect members’ resisted arrest by the JTF as reported by security sources who pleaded anonymity due  to the confidentiality of the matter.. However, no casualty was recorded during the shootout.

Meanwhile different reports have emerged as regards the number of lives that  were lost during the attack, with community leaders claiming death toll has  to has risen to 211. .

The new development of the arrest has justified the promise made by president goodluck Jonathan that the perpetrator would be brought to book.
